The second generation of the WRX is when the car really began to hit its stride. Pre-facelift models were known as “bugeyes” for their cheeky round headlights. The first facelift rought the slightly less loved “blobeye” headlights. Either way, good ones are indeed very scarce. These are cars that tended to be used year-round, in salt, at least 9/10ths. This is a rust-free, original paint car with a clean CarFax, and just 32,000 miles. A true unicorn. The Alcantara sport seats normally wear rather poorly, here, they’re clean and with an obviously nice nap to them. No curbage to the wheels and even the original Subaru head unit is intact. You simply never see these cars like this.
